• This company completed 2 days work while I was away on holiday. When I returned, my initial thought when I walked in to the house was that perhaps they weren't able to do the job after all, as the house was so clean and tidy... But no... The guys had done all the work and left the house cleaner than before!!

• After a survey on our property we needed a quote for a re-wire. So we rang ADC and had a call back on Christmas Eve. Andy then met us at the property and explained what needed to be done. We scheduled a date for the work and it took a week (which is what we were advised) From start to finish we were very pleased with the work

• Contacted Andy at ADC to undertake a Landlord's Electrical Safety Check for the issue of a new Electrical Safety Certificate. Andy responded quickly and scheduled the visit for the following week. His team of two arrived on time and having introduced themselves, got down to the job. They were quiet, efficient and very polite. They found an issue with the bonding of Earth to the gas meter - there wasn't any! This would result in a Fail, and was especially frustrating as the entire electrical installation war completely renewed only 5 years earlier by a different company and had a 10 year Safety Certificate! The Earth bonding to the incoming Water main at the stop-cock was not present, but we eventually found the pipe was bonded but in a very difficult place to see and access - in the corner at the back of a kitchen unit. Andy's team arranged to complete the remedial work immediately so that the house did not fail the check. All at a very reasonable charge. Highly recommended!

• I needed electrical work (primarily lighting) carried out to both my mother's and my own home. I was given ADC's details by another electrician who had been recommended to me but he was going away on holiday. ADC professional throughout; a detailed survey of the work to be carried out followed by an itemised quotation the next day.
  
  On the day itself all the work to both houses completed within the time frame given; no disappearing off to get bits required for the job as all this had been loaded onto the vans in advance. Three cheerful, skilful and extremely tidy workmen worked through the list of jobs with great efficiency and to a high standard. We'll definitely use them for any future work required and have no hesitation in recommending them. Price quoted was not inflated and very reasonable.

• I called these guys for an electric shower repair/replacement. They managed to squeeze me in with 2 days notice. The chap who came was a professional well mannered electrician. He found the problem within 5 minutes. The problem of which was nothing to do with the shower but the electrics in between. He did not try and up sell anything and was good and honest. He promptly repaired the electrics while doing so providing commentary on what caused the problem while at the same times reeling of dates of when the relevant regulations were introduced. He spotted that my fuse box had some issues and needed sorting. Instead of claiming that the work needed doing by an electrician he supplied with the company and number to contact for a replacement. 11/10 service was also on time, clean and thorough. Also due to the early diagnosis of the problem, he knocked £10 of the charge, which i was more than prepared to pay as he saved me an entire electric shower replacement.

• Thanks for sorting the outstanding remedial work required before being able to grant a Landlord Certificate. Your ability to book evertthing in so quickly after finding the two rather surprising errors made by a previous electrian was very much appreciated. My tennants and I can all now sleep easier knowing the house is now safe as regards the slectrical system.

• I needed a Landlord Certificate, but after the initial survey a couple of problems were discovered. ADC were able to book me in quickly to complete the remedial work - rather important because I live 130 miles away so don't want to be travelling back and forth too often! I found them thoroughy polite, professional and relieable, with excellent time keeping. I should also mention they tidied up beautifully after completing what was a moderately complicated piece of work, and the final invoice was exceptionally good value. Thoroughly recommended!
